PSYCHO-PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR FORMING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES OF MASTERS IN AGRARIAN PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION

Abstract

Introduction. The agro-industrial complex needs specialists in the agrarian profile. Their professional training requires highly qualified vocational teachers of agrarian specialization. The quality of their future educational activities primarily depends on the professional competencies they have acquired. Effective formation of professional competencies is not possible without clearly defined psychological and pedagogical conditions for their formation. Purpose. The article aims to identify and substantiate of the psychological and pedagogical conditions for the formation of professional competencies of masters in vocational education in specialization 015.37 Agricultural production, processing of agricultural products and food technologies. Methods. Pedagogical observation, conversations, interviews, and questionnaires methods were used. Results. The main psychological and pedagogical conditions for ensuring the effective formation of professional competencies of future vocational teachers of agrarian specialization are outlined. These include positive motivation of students of higher education; taking into account the psychological features of personality development; use of innovative teaching methods; specialization of master's training in vocational education; introduction of managed research work. It is advisable to add the following competencies to the master's training program in specialization 015.37: ­ the ability to choose and apply technologies and means of mechanization of agricultural production; manage the technological processes of primary processing and transportation of agricultural products;­ the ability to apply modern research methods of agricultural processing technologies; ­ the ability to apply innovative technologies for the production of food products, to ensure the quality and safety of products during their production and sale; ­ the ability to organize work by the requirements of life safety. The educational components that should ensure the formation of the above competencies include such disciplines as Labour protection activities, Modern technologies and means of agricultural production mechanization, Technologies of processing agricultural products, Innovative technologies of food production and Production (technological) practice. Originality. The list of psychological and pedagogical conditions necessary for the effective formation of professional competencies of masters in vocational education in specialization 015.37 is highlighted. For specialization, additional professional competencies, program learning outcomes and educational components that provide them are offered separately Conclusion. The given psychological and pedagogical conditions are an integral part of the process of training future vocational teachers of any specialization. For teachers of specialization 015.37, relevant professional competencies, program learning outcomes and educational components are offered.
