Abstract
This article examines the origins and evolution of aesthetic trades that impact the formation and decorating of interior space in relation to the most recognisable architectural styles and movements. Through the lenses of subject-spatial and functional-artistic organisation, we investigate the transformation of crafts from a merely utilitarian activity into a sort of ornamental and applied art used to enhance the interior environment through holistic and functional ways
