Abstract

This essay makes an effort to bring the issues of cultural heritage research, preservation, and dissemination into the present day. The Importance of Digital Methods in Heritage Conservation In this research, we weigh the benefits and drawbacks of using digital technology to preserve cultural artefacts. The axiological significance of the word heritage is lost when museums are replaced with online archives since the former do not always allow for the preservation of the authentic representation of memory, history, and tradition. In contrast, knowledge that might otherwise be destroyed may be safeguarded and preserved via the use of digital reproductions of cultural artefacts and online museums. In this research, we examine how modern culture and cultural tradition interact while preserving cultural legacy in virtual forms.
