The objects of applying methods of mathematical modeling and estimation in the course of studying the enterprise competitiveness have been differentiated. The classification of competitiveness factors’ depending on the way they affect competitive positions of an enterprise have been developed. The peculiarities of interrelation between processes of modeling and estimation of the competitiveness of an economic entity have been revealed.
