Abstract

The article highlights the essence, indicators, conditions of support and recovery during the war and in the post-war period. The main factors that threaten the health of an adult in war conditions have been identified. It was established that health as a multifaceted phenomenon should be considered as a systemic quality, as a subject of interdisciplinary research, as a complex and global socio-cultural phenomenon as a whole. The basic principles and approaches to the study of the phenomenon of psychological health in comparison with mental health are presented. Levels of health (physical, mental and psychological health) are singled out, which together determine the health of the individual in general. It is shown that at the level of psychological health, a valuable attitude to oneself and to life acquires special importance, which determines freedom of choice, the ability to create and improve the world, determines the interest in self-knowledge, self-determination, self-realization of one's creative self, etc. The main criteria and indicators of psychological health are presented, which only collectively determine its formation (self-psychological competence; determination of behaviour by motives of personal and spiritual development; independence, self-reliance and responsibility for actions; maximum creative use of the subject's abilities; constructive attitude to life's difficulties, negative feedback, etc.). The conditions and means of psychological health support at the intrapersonal, interpersonal, and institutional levels are characterized. Practical recommendations for maintaining the psychological health of an individual based on the well-known "rules of cleanliness" are given. Research perspectives related to the need for a large-scale study of the psychological health of an individual are outlined, which can be taken into account when developing and approving a program for its support and recovery.
