Characteristics of deviant and delinquent behavior of minors before and during the period of martial status

The article presents the characteristics of deviant and delinquent behavior of minors during youth and adolescence. The reasons, structure, and types of such behavior are described. The statistical data of the information databases of criminal offenses committed by minors for 2021 and 2022 are presented. The symptomatology of the crisis, manifested by negative expressions of maladaptive behavior in the relevant age group, is described. Manifestations characterized by low or high self-esteem, low level of self-regulation, increased conflict, lower development of organizational and communicative abilities and skills, low level of responsibility, cognitive distortions of reality, pretentiousness, and negative attitude towards others and society in general, egocentrism, negative internal attitudes towards social demands accompanied by protest behavior. It's noted that during this time of full-scale invasion, social inequality increased, which caused protest behavior in minors and led to negative consequences. It is noted that the most dangerous form of negative deviation is crime, which is a significant manifestation of the sharp opposition between individual interests and social statutes. The causes of juvenile delinquency, its group nature, and conditions of criminal liability are analyzed. In addition, the reasons for the decrease in juvenile delinquency in the period of 2022. The reasons and peculiarities of the formation of criminal groups involving minors are described. The importance of providing minors with the maximum set of conditions that will reduce the development of appropriate behavior due to socio-pedagogical and psychological support with the implementation of programs at the state level for deviant and delinquent behavior prevention and emphasized in the current study
