Словник «Одвічні слова української культури» як авторська лінгвокультурологічна рецепція «буття» базових концептів

Cultural study of language involves the analysis of linguistic phenomena aimed at identifying national and cultural specifics of communication. The attention of linguistic and culturologists is attracted first of all by culturally significant units, cross-cutting concepts, constants, «eternal words» that are most closely connected with the culture of the people and reflect the specifics of its collective consciousness. The Dictionary «Eternal words of ukrainian culture» is a study based on scientific and educational needs to establish a view on the history of literary language and its styles as phenomena closely related to cultural history, philosophy of culture and development of national consciousness. The Lexicon proposes the reception of communication not only as a dialogue (polylogue) with a specific addressee (addressees), this concept also includes internal dialogue and intercultural dialogue. Structuring the content of the Dictionary according to conditionally defined time slices, each of which can be perceived as a certain cultural layer with its own system of values, allows us to trace the change of axiological reception of studied ancient words (basic concepts) of Ukrainian culture. The opportunity to form an idea of the worldview of Ukrainians from ancient times to the present in the perception of themselves, their lives, the world around them (communication in a broad, discursive sense) opens up new frontiers for self-awareness and self-understanding. The dictionary «Eternal words of ukrainian culture» — as the author's linguo-cultural reception of «being» of basic concepts ― contains especially important, the most common lexical units, cross-cutting concepts of Ukrainian culture.
