Abstract
This study evaluates the performance of Zaffify, a web-based platform designed to empower parents in Talisay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines, to provide supplemental special education for their high school children at home. Zaffify offers a low-cost and accessible solution by providing a comprehensive online video library of educational resources created by teachers. Students can enroll in these video courses and progress at their own pace, revisiting lessons as needed. To ensure quality and user-friendliness, the system will undergo a rigorous evaluation process involving IT experts using the SQuaRE Quality Model. Additionally, feedback will be gathered from special education teachers, parents, and the Supervisor Head for Special Education in Talisay City. This multi-pronged approach aims to establish Zaffify as a valuable tool for parents, enabling them to participate actively in their child's special education journey in a cost-effective, high-quality, and convenient manner.
