Social aspects of the economy of the Republic of Belarus

Social aspects of the economy cover a wide range of issues, including the standard of living of the population, employment, social protection, education and health care. The standard of living reflects a system of quantitative indicators of satisfaction of various needs per capita. Despite certain achievements in the area of raising the standard of living, employment and social protection, problems such as social inequality, financing of health care and education remain relevant. To achieve sustainable socio-economic development, it is necessary to continue reforms aimed at improving the quality of life of the population and creating equal opportunities for all citizens.
