IMPACT OF THE MILITARY CONFLICT ON WATER RESOURCES: CONSEQUENCES FOR UKRAINE

Introduction. The work is devoted to the study of the impact of military operations on the water resources of Ukraine. In the conditions of a full-scale armed conflict, water bodies are exposed to serious environmental, social and economic threats. The destruction of the water supply infrastructure, the pollution of water bodies from hazardous emissions, as well as the reduction of access to clean water are critical problems that require an urgent solution. The study analyzed the consequences of military actions for water resources, investigated the factors contributing to the deterioration of the ecological situation.
