Abstract
This article presents the study of thermal behaviour of an air inductorwithclosedtoricmagnetic circuit (3C90). The paperisbased on simulation and analyticalcalculation. The COMSOL software allowed us to design and study the influence of differentgeometricparameters of the structure. The choice of the equivalent thermal model retainedfromour component is the nodal. Westudied the temperature distribution of the conductor, core, substrate and assembly. To do this, severalgeometricparameters are studied: the thickness of the conductor, the number of turns and the current. The resultsshowed a good correlationbetween simulations and analyticalcalculations.
