Motivation and job satisfaction of healthcare workers in private hospitals in Vietnam

Abstract
Background. The shortage of health workers is a concern for the Government of Vietnam. The goal is to motivate work through job satisfaction of medical staff in private hospitals in Vietnam. Purpose – the paper examined socio-demographic and work-related factors as the basis for improving work productivity. Materials and Methods. With the database collected 558 observations from doctors, pharmacists, nurses, midwives, technicians, and community health doctors currently working at 92 private hospitals in Vietnam, invited to survey via email, from 08/2024 to 11/2024. By using the foundation theory and through the study of quantitative economic models, the PLS-SEM linear structure model, is implemented on SPSS and AMOS 20 software.
