Abstract
The article introduces into scientific circulation the hoard of the clipped Kufic dirhams found in the 1970s in the upper reaches of the river Tuskar, Kursk region. From its composition, the Kursk Regional Museum of Local Lore received 60 clipped coins, most of them made from Samanid coins. The complex dates back to the 2nd half of the 980s. Chronological distribution and metrology revealed its belonging to the final stage of specific monetary circulation, which became widespread in one of the regions of the Severskaya land – “Posemye”.
