Abstract
The article highlights the main theoretical and applied principles of the development of renewable energy in Ukraine as an element of national security. The European integration aspect of the development of domestic renewable energy in Ukraine is characterized. It is noted that under current conditions, energy security is a key component of the country's national security. And for Ukraine, this is extremely relevant given the ongoing military aggression of russia, which deliberately strikes at the domestic critical energy infrastructure. At the same time, global challenges related to climate change require the transformation of traditional energy systems in the areas of decarbonization, decentralization, and the introduction of renewable energy sources. Today, renewable energy is an integral part of the modern national security architecture of our country, and its development should be synergistic and harmonious with European standards for a stable, secure energy future.
