Graphene: A Brief Study of Its Electrical and Thermal Properties

Graphene, a semiconductor material, is being seen as a game changer in electronics. The energy band gap structure suitable for Field Effect transistor (FETs), carrier mobility, ambipolar behavior and so much more, might be a potential successor for Silicon in electronics. However, there are problems to be handled before graphene can be concluded a successor to silicon. This paper goes through the properties of Graphene that are crucial for its application in various electronics sphere and its future as a successor to silicon.
