Agile Development Methodology: Impact on Project Cost and Time

The study investigates the impact of cost and time based on chosen development methodology specifically agile software development. Agile software development is being used widely in maximum IT companies. The sole purpose of this research is to study the impact of cost and time on software projects which were developed using agile frameworks. The concept of the study uses quantitative descriptive approach in which all respondents were given a survey of closed-ended questions to determine the impact of cost and time on software projects using agile software development. The gathered information was statistically analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) tool. Validity test was verified by panel of experts, and reliability was checked by Cronbach's alpha of internal consistency. A number of analyses were performed on the data including normality testing, correlations and regression analysis.
