Формирование органов управления культурой в западной Сибири (середина XIX в. ? 1917 г.)

The article analyzes the problems of forming government culture in Western Siberia from the end of the XIX century to 1917 years. It is noted that during this period, in the context of a general economic recovery actively developing socio-cultural environment of cities and rural areas of Western Siberia. Activation of social and cultural life of Siberian helped to attract attention of local authorities which have undergone a series of institutional reforms and various charitable and educational societies, the development of library and museum, cultural and educational activities in Siberia as a whole. Conclusions that the activities of the local governing bodies in relation to various cultural institutions and their activities was primarily a coordinating nature
