Communal agent institutions in Volyn region: the present day state and the development dynamics

The article contains the results of the statistical research of the communal agent institutions in Volyn region in the period of 2011-2014. The amount of different types of agent institutions, their time dynamics and location distribution within the region had been investigated. The number of berths in communal agent institutions, the quantity of settled individuals including foreigners, the amount of visitors' lodgings in the institutions and the average duration of agent in them, the operating ratio of their holding capacity, the dynamics of tourists circulation for last four years, the hotel rooms bank and similar residential institutions had been ascertained. On the basis of initial statistic data the average occupancy rate of a single berth and the turnover of the latter within the hotels, similar and specialized residential institutions over a year had been calculated and analyzed.
