BASIS OF ECOLOGICAL AND HYGIENE MEASURES OF WATERSHED SEVERSKY DONETS IN KHARKIV REGION

In Kharkiv National Medical University completed two research works (GDR) according to tasks of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on the themes: “Envi- ronmental and safety study of the optimal levels of anthro- pogenic impact on the recreational areas of watersheds” and “The justification of the waste management concept of risk assessment for health in the watershed of Seversky Donets river”. To study the ecological and sanitary measures for protection of the transboundary watershed of drinking water source in the ukrainian regions and abroad and for improving the conditions of using for public recreation the main recreational reservoir of Kharkiv region Seversky Donets river within the GDR was developed the concept of protection of the water recreational areas and the concept of waste management. It is concluded that the successful implementation of the developed concepts will be possible for fully provided when waste management will become the part of the economic government management at all hierarchical levels and also if the administrative and organizational structure on regional level for resolving problem of organization and control of terms of recovery and mass recreation on the water would be created.
