SYSTEMATIZATION OF ECONOMIC AND MATHEMATICAL MODELS

Modeling is one of the perspective directions of research of the world surrounding us. However, the lack of the existed interpretation of basic concepts of this sphere negatively affects practical use of methods of modeling. Clarification of the reasons of the developed situation causes relevance of researches in this field. The definitions of the one most important term "model" existing in scientific literature in this area are generalized in this article. Generalizing definition of this term, allowing to solve a problem of systematization of economic and mathematical models is offered.
