CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS: LEGAL NATURE AND SIGNIFICANCE

Reveal different aspects of the confidential information, in terms of both general legal importance, and specific directions. Confidential information is an essential component of virtually every branch of the law, since most legal rules, which are more or less subject to the practical realization of human rights respect, can not be disclosed. Accordingly, information that comes as a result of implementation of the law is confidential and shall not be disclosed to the appropriate resolution of the person. Special branch of law is the law of criminal procedure, the fundamental task is to protect the rights and freedoms from unlawful attacks, including those not spread confidential information during the implementation of the criminal proceedings. This article provides a general legal characterization of the legal nature of the confidential information in criminal proceedings and its importance in the field of criminal proceedings.
