CHTHONIC CULTURE AS A FACTOR CORRECTION SPIRITUAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL BASES OF ECOLOGICAL PROBLEMS

The article deals with the environmental aspects of cultures belonging to the civilizations of Western and Eastern styles. By referring to the proposed division of L. Frobe- nius crops on chthonic and telluric determined anthropocentrism archetypal foundation of the Western type of culture and anthropocosmism ? East. Substantiates the tendency of har- monization telluric Western culture under the in? uence of Eastern culture chthonic in their interaction in the context of globalization. It is determined by the speci? cs of Russian culture as a predominantly chthonic, but telluric component. The historical and the geopolitical role of Russia as a center for the harmonization of different cultures and different civilizations consensus in the context of the prospects for the resolution of environmental and other global problems is postulated
