The article considers the problem of the use of biodegradable polymers based on polypropylene in the tourism industry. The different formulations for films based on polypropylene. Of special interest are polypropylene-based film of the wood meal. They contain maleic anhydride as additive. After use, they are subjected to biodegradation. It is concluded that the effect of the supramolecular structure on the characteristics and performance of biodegradable films based on polypropylene. Waste minimization leads to the implementation of sustainable tourism in terms of different types of tourism, ie the preservation of nature and its resources
