Problems of nature in riverside areas of the Dnieper

Functionation of waterworks changed the ecosystem of the river. It gradually led to the negative effects for human. The natural environment of the Dnipro Basin needs reconstruction and significant funding to support sustainable development. The main purpose of this article is to conduct a thorough analysis of cause-effect relationships to identify the main reasons that led to undesirable changes in the ecosystem of the river and the development of measures wich can improve its condition.
