Socio-economic and psychosocial characteristics of old age working doctors

The article presents the results of the research on socio-economic and psychological characteristics of old age doctors working at medico-prophylactic institutions of Ryazan. The main life problems, which respondents especially stressed, were as follows: financial difficulties, emotional overwork, family disputes. Against this background only one third of the questioned doctors are concerned about the state of their health, 73.3 % of them suffering from two or more chronic diseases.
