Essence and vectors of economic systems transformation

The existing approaches to determination of the essence of economic systems transformation are systemized. Three key vectors of such transformation are highlighted and grounded, in particular: the institutional, resource and spatial vectors. According to these vectors the basic stages of the transformation are defined. The current stages are determined for the most modern economies. Through the combination of these vectors the model of transformation of economic systems is created. It can be used as theoretical generalization of previous milestones of transformation process and as the basis for predicting its future development.
