Abstract
Background: Research confirms that hospital work environment features are associated with improved patient outcomes including mortality and patient satisfaction. Aim of the work: To investigate whether safe hospital climate influence patient satisfaction and quality of nursing care. Methods: Data were derived from 3 tools (hospital safety climate [HSC], patients’ satisfaction and health care providers’ questionnaires). Sample of 100 nurses and 95 patients, who admitted to Mansoura Emergency Hospital through 1 month, were included.
