THE ROLE OF THE RSFSR PEOPLE'S COMMISSARIAT OF ENLIGHTENMENT IN FORMATION OF THE SYSTEM OF NATURE PROTECTION IN THE 1920S

The article describes the history of the system of socio-natural interactions in Russia in the 1920s, the legal basis of which was first decrees of Soviet power, and management ? people's Commissariat of education of RSFSR, engaged in the protection of nature in the country. The author considers the content and results of envi- ronmental activities of Glavnauka, the reasons for the suspension of development of the national system of man- agement of the environment and of environmental degradation to the beginning of the 1930s. The article presents archival documents that have not been previously published, which is the scientific novelty of the research
