ON THE ?SITE-SPECIFIC? THEATRE

The article is devoted to the phenomenon of today ? ?site-specific? theater. The specifics of these performances is staged in delegating functions to the space in which the action is implemented. It should be not- ed the absence of fundamental works in Russian language illuminating ?site-specific? theater, so it is worth em- phasizing the scientific novelty and relevance of this study, which may be a theoretical tool for theater directors and directors of mass holidays, using the principles of ?site-specific? theater in their performances. Also, the lack of work, and hence the terminology in Russian resulted in the fact that in this article the authentic terminol- ogy that clean their sound as much as possible reveals the essence of this phenomenon is used. A special feature of this article is a detailed disclosure of the essence of the concept of ?site-specific theatre? and the author's de- sire to trace the formation of the European genre in Russian art realities.
