Justification of proposals aimed at improving the state of fixed assets of railway transports

The article describes the main problems of the railway transport, including significant depreciation of fixed assets and proposed approaches to overcome these negative trends. Determined that the restoration of fixed assets of railway transport, especially in modern conditions, must occur gradually through the modernization and renewal of rolling stock, catenary’s, track superstructure, sugared and artificial structures and other means according to the intensity of traffic, tight supplying part of the road and other indicators, in particular, the quality and effectiveness of the transportation process.
