LIFE QUALITY OF FIRST YEAR STUDENTS IN NIZHNEVARTOVSK

Level of economic development of Russia is determined by training quality of specialists, list of competences of which is formulated in higher educational institution. The character of academic activity and assignments, education process organization are the leading factors, determining life quality of students. The study of life quality of first year students in Nizhnevartovsk State University is conducted using SF-36 Russian-language international standard questionnaire. During the study, a contradiction between subjective perception of life quality by students and objective findings is revealed. Both gender students evaluate their life quality as high, which is characteristic both for physical and mental components of health. The results on objective evaluation of social functioning level of studied are lower, which proves low adaptation level of first year students.
