THE FORMATION OF RELIGIOUS IDENTITY IN THE ACTIVATION OF THE SITUATION OF THE ISLAMIC FACTOR

The article deals with the formation of religious identities by the example of the Tatars of the south of the Tyumen region in the conditions of activation of the Islamic factor. In order to identify the religious identities of case studies were carried out in 2001?2015, as well as in-depth interviews with representatives of the clergy and believers who practice Islam. The studies revealed that the socio-demographic characteristics of religious and non-religious representatives of the Islamic population is now blurred. Sociological studies have shown a significant role in the formation of Islamic tolerance and tolerance for the views and beliefs, ethnic differences, which become a common practice of social and cultural life of the region
