DEVELOPMENT OF THE MEDICAL SCIENCES ON THE POLISH TERRITORIES

The formation of medicine on the Polish territories is analyzed. The medical knowledge develops indissolubly with development of humanity and reflects each historical period, a concrete era. The medical science displays level of education, economy, engineering, science and culture of society in the whole. The first medical faculty was formed in 1364 in the Krakow Academy. It began the development of the higher medical education in Poland. The history of development of medicine on the Polish territories is interesting not only from the point of view of training and education of medical personnel, but also allows determining of transfer ways of the Polish experience.
