THE PROBLEM OF DETERMINATION OF PARTIAL FACTORS FOR DESIGN MODELS OF STEEL STRUCTURES WITHIN RELIABILITY CONCEPT ADOPTED IN THE EUROCODES

Values of the partial factors for a target reliability level of building structures with dominant snow loads are determinate. The analysis showed that the use of the obtained value of the partial factors leads to probability of exceeding the design values more than for accident load. This situation is problematic for steel structures, but methodological errors can be traced to structures made from other materials.
