THE FORMING OF THE BILLETS AT THE ECCENTRIC UPSETTING BY CONVEX DIE-INSERTS WITH DIFFERENT HEIGHT OF PROFILE

The technique of study of the forming of cylindrical workpieces at eccentric upsetting by convex die-inserts with varying of height of the profile in a package of computer finite element modelling with using of the method of experiment planning is developed. The patterns for allow to predict the change of macro-indexes of forming of cylindrical workpieces during upsetting by convex die-inserts that taking into account the original dimensions of the workpiece, the tool design and the eccentricity value was provided as result of studies.
