This article deals with the issue of substantial and educational-methodical providing of home reading lessons. Specifics of these lessons consist in an organization method: all process of creative reading, difficult process of perception and understanding of the literary are independent. The author determinates a place and a role of teacher in the home reading organization, investigates issue of control and estimation of this form of pupils’ activity.
