Abstract
It's given a more extended classification of retaining walls due to terms of use, landscape design, construction renovation and reliable operation of aries unsuitable for development. It's shown the work of retaining walls of a special type un complex engineering geological conditions. As an example the use the FEM for simulation of contact interaction of retaining walls with a special type of soil massif is shown.
