Abstract
In this article the valuation of positions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the world oil market is given. Dynamics and tendency of the world oil market are analyzed. Despite prospects and the state support of oil-extracting branch a number of problems at this branch development is revealed. The possibilities of 100 % providing of the fuel market of Kazakhstan by own oil products by 2020 are considered.
