The value of the educational influence of physical training at the medical University on the formation of personality of future doctors; we have analyzed some approaches to understanding the educational possibilities of physical training at the medical University. The methodical providing of realization of educational function of physical training in the context of professional training of future health workers; illuminated factors influencing the formation of future doctors of health-preserving competence. It is emphasized that physical education in medical schools is an important component of professional training of future doctors.
