INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT: PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS

The article is devoted to infrastructure investments in the Russian Federation at the present stage. Examines the role of infrastructure investment in the economy. Special attention is paid to issues that affect the development of public-private partnership as the main mechanism of interaction between the state and the private sector in financing infrastructure projects. Examines private pension funds as new players in the market of infrastructure financing. In conclusion outlines the key tasks to be resolved in the short term.
