THE ESSENCE OF SOCIAL AND CULTURAL REFORMS IN UZBEKISTAN

The article deals with the essence and importance of reforms in the sphere of social culture throughout the years of independence in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Based on the material of the chronological collection, the management of these reforms by the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan is grounded. The author of the study has made an attempt to show on the basis of specific examples that the reforms yield favourable results in the sphere of social culture not only within the country, but at the international level as well.
