Abstract

The article represents selective results of a survey, showing the influence of career attitudes of the high school students on the quality of their academic capital. The definition of an ‘academic capital of the school graduate as a component of a human capital’ is being of- fered. As a tool to determine the career orientations the questionnaire ?Career Orientation In- ventory? by E. H. Schein was soundly selected, and also the variation of its modification was proposed for use in the studied cohort of seniors. The author is trying to test three hypotheses about the career attitudes of a high school student within the framework of cumulating one’s own academic capital. The ground for rejecting the hypothesis about impact of high school student career attitudes on one’s own academic capital is given
