EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE REFRIGERATION UNIT OPERATING ON THE NON-AZEOTROPIC MIXTURE OF REFRIGERANTS

The experimental research of installation, working on two-component mixture of ethane and isobutane is carried out. As a result of direct measurements it was established that in the recuperative heat exchanger of experimental installation there were two areas, in which the temperatures of direct and opposite flows were approaching. The attempt of an explanation of the received results is made on the basis of the assumption that after expansion of refrigerating mixture in expansion valve its structure in small refrigerating machineries finally comes into thermodynamic balance only on the cold end in heath exchanger.
