Abstract

The article examined victimization aspects of women in marital relationships with men who suffer from alcohol dependence. The study authors have found that women who are in such marriages, discover expressed suicidal and non-suicidality auto-aggressive patterns of behavior (accidents before the last two years were observed ? at 32.3%, exposure to physical violence before the last two years had a place ? 32.25%, fractures before the last two years ? from 38.7% TBI before the last two years ? at 29.03%, exposure to sexual violence ? at 22.58%), most of which is logical to consider it from the perspective of increased personal victimization. These results suggest that women who are married to men who suffer from alcohol dependence, because of the high risk antivitality activity, should be the object of attention of experts from the standpoint of victimology and suicidology.
