Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect that exercises the time of the year and the race in the reproductive acting post - I leave of cows managed under the system of double purpose. 28 were used you vacate homogeneous multíparas in number of childbirths, production of milk, race, handling, sanity, environment, feeding and amamantamiento system. They were distributed in four treatments using a design totally at random, with a factorial arrangement 2 x 2, with two times (rain and drought) and two races (Cebú and it crossbreeds (30% Holstein and 70% Cebú)) with seven repetitions for group (combination: time x race): T1 - Drought x Crossbreeds; T2 - Drought x Cebú; T3 - Rain x Crossbreeds; T4 - Rain x Cebú. For the gestation rate and open days, he/she was difference statistically significant (P 0.05) among times of the year, 92.71 ± 23.74 days for the dry time against 115.78 ± 47.35 days for the rainy time of the year. In the factor race, he/she was not significant differences (P>0.05) in the gestation rate (Cebú 78.57 vs mestizo 71.42%) and in the open days (Cebú 100.71 ± 31.76 mestizo vs 107.78 ± 45.35 days). This is an indication of the importance of the effect that you/they exercise the time of the year and the race in the reproductive behavior post - I leave in cows under the system of double purpose.
