Structuring Ukrainian wedding ritualism

On the grounds of the proposed by the author separation of the rites of a traditional Ukrainian wedding cycle a slender structure is built that allows studying archetypes and names-functions, reflections and repetitions, characters' metamorphoses and changes of sacred chronotopes. A large ceremonial cycle is decomposed into four small cycles that reflect transition of dramatis personae to totally new level. Small cycles, in their turn, are divided into separate rites and episodes which are events of ritual act. Besides these components, one points to the existence of a prologue to the entire cycle where involvement of characters and gaining sacred momentum take place.
