Abstract
In the present observation an attempt was made to isolate fungi from different seeds of four pulse crops viz., Arachis hypogia, Cicer arietinum, Vigna mungo and Vigna radiata, stored for different length of time as well as stored in different containers . An attempt has also been made to isolate fungi from hand, bullock and machine threshed seed. Effect of seed moisture on seed fungal flora was also observed. Results showed that traditional methods of threshing and storage was proved more effective than machine threshed seeds. Time of storage also play a vital role in infestation of storage fungi on seed samples taken for investigations
