Specificity of the relationship of self-esteem and level of aspiration of young people who are prone to alcohol dependence

The article presents the results of the empirical study that is directed on the characteristics of self-esteem, level of aspiration and their relationship with prone to alcohol addiction of young people. It has been defined that among predisposed to alcohol dependence dominate young people with high self-esteem, which is compensatory in nature, as evidenced by the prevailing combination of high self-esteem with a low level of claims. The results may be useful in the development of psychological prevention of alcohol dependence of young people.
