Abstract
The definition of the economic model of Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics is provided; the advantages of these models over the liberal-market models are exposed. The content and meaning of the commercial law in developing an effective, commercially viable economic model for Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics are specified. The recommendations for the legal adjusting of economic activity, considering the developed countries experience, and for developing the economic legislation of Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics are suggested.
