The Problem of Waste Banks of Donbass

This work is devoted to the actual topic of waste banks recycling in Donetsk region. The ecological situation in the region was analyzed and possible ways of solving the problem were investigated. It was found what the ecological threats of waste banks exist and which economic benefits might be received in the case of solving this issue. The experience of different countries, which have faced the problem, was considered. Basing on the study of the issue, some possible solutions of the waste banks utilization were suggested for Donetsk. The economic benefits of waste banks utilization in the city were also investigated in the work.
